🎣 Hooked Leagues — How They Work
League Scores Update Hourly
Hooked Leagues are a weekly competitive system that give everyone a fair chance to climb the leaderboard.
Each week, your catches contribute to your League Score, which is calculated directly from the fish you catch during that week.
To keep leagues fair for everyone, only the fish themselves count toward league scoring. Accessory boosts, bait boosts, quest XP, and other bonus XP do not affect your league score.
Leagues reset and advance every Monday. Players may move up, down, or remain in the same league depending on both their rank and league score that week.
Promotion happens step-by-step. Even if you earn a very high score in a lower league, you will only advance one league at a time.
Each league has three possible outcomes:
- The Top 10 players who meet that league’s XP target advance to the next league.
- Mid-range players remain in their current league.
- Low performers drop down one league.
Only the Top players in each league are displayed on the leaderboard. Check Stats on your HUD in-world for your current league ranking.
As you progress through the leagues, higher tiers will also unlock exclusive items available for Fish Points, offering rewards that only players in certain leagues can purchase.
